Why this site exists
- Most payment-gateway 'comparison' sites are affiliate funnels that promote the highest-paying vendor.
- Many vendors refuse to publish public rates; comparison sites then either invent rates or omit the vendor.
- Reported rates drift out of date silently; the Stripe 17 Jun 2025 two-tier dispute model is the canonical example of a change that broke years of stale content.
- This site solves the first problem by being affiliate-free, the second by labelling quote-only as quote-only, the third by re-verifying every rate quarterly with a visible date stamp.
